One of my portrait subjects is my dog, Webster. He is an 8 year old wire-haired terrier mix, and we've had him since 2012. He's been with me through thick and thin, and, even though he's a bean-brain, he really means alot to me. For these photos, I tried to take the pictures in authentic scenarios to capture a "purer" picture. Unfortunately, that backfired because the backgrounds of my images are very distracting. This project also had a few challenges that I had to face. Since I really didn't plan for my photos and it was weird for me to ask people to let me take photos of them, I forced myself to rush through taking photos at the last minute, which lead to the photos not being of good quality. Going forward, I am going to try to plan the photo ideas before the weekend, so I have plenty of time to schedule and shoot.
